Company Profile:
We belong to a research group in computing of the University of Seville (Spain) named IWT2 (Web Engineering and Early Testing, http://www.iwt2.org) TIC021 (PAIDI Research Group). The director of this research group is Dr. María José Escalona Cuaresma, Ph.D. Software Engineering with a European mention. In addition, the research group is composed of professors of the Department of Languages and Computing Systems at the University of Seville and a set of technical specialists in the subjects of the group.The headquarters of our research group is in ETS Ingeniería Informática (Av. Reina Mercedes S/N, 41012 Seville, Spain). Moreover, our research group is associated with the foundation FIDETIA. FIDETIA is the Foundation for Research and Development Information Technology in Andalusia, this foundation was established in March 2000 as a teaching and research foundation.
On the other hand, we want to mention that our research group, IWT2, is certified on the following standards: UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000, UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004, ISO 27001 and UNE ISO 166002:2006.
The main objective is to bring research results within the same business reality, through the definition suitability of the following technological lines:

(*) Methods and techniques to develop quality software, based on the methodology NDT (Navigational Development Techniques). The methodology NDT is one of the most important pillars of the group is specially designed to support the life cycle of the development of web-oriented software
(*) Metrics for systematic validation of models, though the application of the principles of the Model- Driven Engineering (MDE), which provides a set of guidelines for structuring specifications expressed as models
(*) Techniques of early testing by systematically generating test form the early stages of the life cycle and very focus on the navigational models.

One of the most important resources of IWT2 is NDT (Navigational Development Techniques). NDT is a model-driven Web methodology that was initially defined to deal with requirements in Web development, but our methodology can be applied in the development of any software application. Nowadays, NDT offers a complete support for the whole life cycle. This support is provided by a set of tools named NDT-SUITE. One of the main advantages of NDT is it is being used in the enterprise environment. In fact, NDT-Suite is currently being used in several projects by different companies, either public or privates, big or small. On the one hand, public companies such as The Andalusian Culture Government; The Andalusian Health Government; among others, are using NDT and NDT-Suite. On the other hand, also privates Andalusian ICT companies such as Everis, Telvent, Aliatis, Icosis, Guadaltel, Sadiel or Novasoft, among others, are using NDT in some of theirs projects.

We have great experience in the context of quality assurance in the development of systems and the generation and transformations of models within the MDE paradigm (Model Driven Engineering paradigm). In this sense, we have participated as a technical office of quality in many projects and we have provided support in project management in these projects.

What we offer:

We have great experience in the context of requirements engineering and quality assurance in the development of systems and the generation and transformations of models within the MDE paradigm (Model Driven Engineering paradigm). The main research lines in IWT2 are: Software methodologies oriented to web environments, Web System development, Early Testing application, Early Testing oriented to Web environment, Metrics for model systematic validation, Model Driven Paradigm in Web Engineering, Test systematic generation based on Requirements Engineering, Quality in web system development

One of the most important resources of IWT2 is NDT (Navigational Development Techniques). NDT is a model-driven Web methodology that was initially defined to deal with requirements in Web development, but our methodology can be applied in the development of any software application. NDT started with a goal oriented phase of requirements and defines a set of transformations to the generation of analysis models. Nowadays, NDT offers a complete support for the whole life cycle. This support is provided by a set of tools named NDT-SUITE . Recently, we have presented an article in The International Conference on Web Engineering (ICWE 2012) on our suite of tools and finally, this paper has been accepted.

In fact, NDT-Suite is currently being used in several projects by different companies, either public or privates, big or small. On the one hand, public companies such as The Andalusian Culture Government; The Andalusian Health Government; among others, are using NDT and NDT-Suite. In addition, we have experience in dissemination of project results. Our group has made a considerable number of research publications in the following conferences and journals. We highlight the following: JSS, TSE, AES, ISD, Models Congres, JWE, ICWE; among others.

What we are looking for:
Our research group is looking for relationships with other research groups, private companies or public institutions. Our goal is to find potential partners to participate in projects R + D + i (Research & Development & Innovation) within the context of software engineering.
